Luke's journey in the tiling world began in his teens, apprenticing in Tucson, AZ, where he learned the traditional, time-tested techniques of the craft. His passion for perfection only grew, leading him to New York City at 20. Here, under the guidance of industry pioneers, he mastered advanced, lightweight installation methods and crucial waterproofing skills essential for high-rise projects.
In 2005, California called, and Luke honed his skills in natural stone and marble work under Chris Burke, a revered multi-generation tiler. These diverse experiences across the U.S. equipped Luke with a comprehensive skill set and a vision for a different kind of tile company.
Tile Solutions: Built on Integrity and Expertise
In 2008, Luke started his own business in Monterey, CA, and has since made Bradenton, FL, his home, bringing a lifetime of expertise to homeowners eager for quality that stands the test of time. Luke's philosophy is simple: install tile that lasts generations, only replaced when tastes change, not because of failure.
A Leader and Educator
Beyond installations, Luke is a vanguard in the tile industry. He created the first tile-specific podcast and a Facebook group aimed at helping contractors build sustainable businesses. His efforts have been supported by the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA), and over 20 Industry Manufacturers & suppliers. Luke continues to shape the industry, hosting training events and sharing knowledge through social media, podcasts, and in-person events.
